How much time is required for proccesing?
Seasonally it can vary from 4-8 weeks.

What types of elements are used?
Copper elements specially designed for the size of the radiator.

How is the power wire connected to the heater?
At the electrical terminals in the cast iron junction box attached
to the radiator.

What kind of wiring do I need?
Standard #12.

Can the old pipes be used for the wiring?
Yes.

Is there a pressure relief valve?
No, replaced by a thermal fuse.

Any odours during operation?
Slight odour possible on first use

Is a standard wall thermostat required?
Yes, we recommend electronic, made by well known companies

Is maintenance required?
No

What is the warranty?
10 years on the electric element.

Are there any costs other than those of the conversion and those of the electrician?
Disconnection and removal of the boiler, piping and radiators. Shipping and handling of the radiators(if needed)

Are these expenditures eligible for government grants?

Can there be differences of tone between the radiators with the translucent finish?
The translucent finish is transparent, so it takes on the patina of the iron. Each radiator is unique and two radiators of the same model could have a different hue, depending on the alloy melt.
